HFRL staff to assist with IVI field test
The ITS Institute's Human Factors Research Laboratory (HFRL) recently
welcomed John Bloomfield as its newest staff member and as part
of a team that will play a key role in the Institute's Intelligent
Vehicles Initiative (IVI) Field Operational Test.
Research on vehicle
turns may improve traffic flow through intersections
Turns affect the flow of traffic through an intersection (for example,
by reducing speeds of through-traffic), which can subsequently affect
overall traffic in a particular system.
Seminars to highlight
advanced transportation technologies
The ITS Institute will sponsor a series of seminars on advanced
transportation technologies beginning in September.
