Nichole Morris is interested in multi-sensory perception, aging, judgment and decision making, usability, and human factors. Her research has examined the mental processes that prohibit perfect time-sharing of driving and secondary tasks; non-destructive inspection techniques of aircrafts; usability of voice-recognition, keypad, and handwritten input software; effects of visual impairment on speech-reading performance, and the variability of acoustic and optic talker characteristics.

Morris received a Ph.D. in psychology (human factors) from Wichita State University in 2011. She also holds a M.A. and B.A. in psychology from Wichita State University.
