The Minneapolis/St. Paul region is an inviting metropolitan area with an appealing array of things to see and do. The Twin Cities area is cosmopolitan at its heart and small town along its perimeter. The area enjoys an exciting arts scene, landmark architecture, terrific restaurants, intriguing museums, local sports teams (including the Minnesota Twins), and activities for outdoor enthusiasts. The urban scenery includes an abundance of shady greenways and sparkling lakes. The Mississippi, Minnesota, and St. Croix rivers wind through the region. Not only is it a major cultural and commercial center, this vibrant urban area is also one of the most beautiful metro areas in the country. In addition to the two downtown areas, a variety of neighborhoods and suburban communities offer lots to do, including the well-known Mall of America.
